DRAWING AS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF MODERN DAY LIVING –

Drawing is not only a preliminary stage of an art work, it is also one
of the most primal forms of art which has sustained over centuries, and
still thrives in this fast paced era. It is one of the most innate forms of
self-expression, and an essential tool in visual culture, used to express,
document, and translate. Through the history of art, or even through the
history of the world, drawing has been immensely vital; not just an art
form but also as an important cog in the process of documentation, from
botanical sketches to inventions, from the Prehistoric era of hunting to
the modern day manuals, drawings have been used to convey messages,
thoughts, ideas, and instructions.
Drawing is the bare minimal when it comes to visual representations,
we might tend to forget how many visual icons we see every day, which
are primarily drawings, we have accustomed our minds and eyes to these
visuals which are universal, even when we are in a different country with
a different cultural construct, drawings help us understand and connect.
