The 4th Dharamshala International Film Festival

The 4th edition of the Dharamshala International Film Festival took place in McLeod Ganj from 5-8 November 2015. Longtime residents of Dharamshala, filmmakers Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam initiated the film festival with the aim to bring high quality independent cinema to Dharamshala, encourage local filmmaking talent and create a meaningful platform to engage all the communities in the area. The Dharamshala International Film Festival is an alternative, offbeat independent film festival held annually in McLeod Ganj. DIFF 2015 was able to build on the hallmarks that have given the festival its reputation as a cutting edge event – an intimate and carefully curated festival in the Himalayas showcasing an eclectic mix of the best of independent features, documentaries, shorts and animation films from India and around the world.
