On The Occasion Of World Heritage Day, Art Spice Gallery At The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa Gifts Presented An Enthralling Exhibition, “The Fabled Hampi” By An Award-Wining Artist, Ganesh Doddamani. April 18, 2015: The fabled ruins of Hampi have often provided a wide canvas for artists. Hampi had been the capital of all the Southern India kingdoms for over 200 years. From early 14th century it is one of the most extensive and spectacular historical sites to be found anywhere in India and has been declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Art Spice Gallery at The Metropolitan Hotel and Spa collaborated with renowned artist Ganesh Doddamini to host a month long exhibition titled ‘The Fabled Hampi’ delving into the grandeur of a bygone royal era at Art Spice Gallery itself. The stellar show was inaugurated by Padamshri Ram V. Sutar, eminent sculptor and President of All India Fine Arts & Craft Society. The show was supported by Mail Today, India Today, Spice and Jacob’s Creek. Part of the proceeds from the show will go towards a good cause courtesy Smile Foundation. The exhibition is open for public viewing till 20th May, 2015.
