The inaugural Singapore Art Fair was the first one in Asia dedicated to the art of the Middle East, North Africa, South and Southeast Asia (ME.NA.SA). An encouraging success story, that brought diverse expressions and cultural edifices with numerous artists from 22 participating countries, together.
Singapore Art Fair 2014, the first fair in Asia dedicated to the ME.NA.SA art, kept its promise and met its objectives which were mainly to position the event within the modern and contemporary art fair calendar in Asia, present new horizons to Middle-Eastern and Asian collectors and allow emerging artists to be introduced internationally. The Art Fair ended recently on a positive note. Around 59 galleries from 22 countries, featuring more than 230 artists from the Middle East, North Africa, South and Southeast Asia (ME.NA.SA) participated in this inaugural Fair. The Fair was held from 27 to 30 November 2014, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The Singapore Art Fair is organised by Orchilys Pte Ltd, founded by MP Singapore and CEDRALYS, the organisation behind the Beirut Art Fair. The Singapore Art Fair was established following the success of the Beirut Art Fair.
