Studio at Varda: Memories of a Visit

I least imagined that one day I would be photographed with a knife in my hand and a scowl on my face, playing the protagonist in an incredible narrative that had me supposedly ripping apart a beautiful studio-backdrop, because of patent dissatisfaction with my portrait. The visit I made to WaswoX. Waswo’s studio at Varda, on the outskirts of Udaipur in
Rajasthan, is certainly something to write about. It was a day when I made an intrinsic exchange with the spirit of the place and in the process became embedded within a history.
