Defining the undefined

Going through his sculptures one can sense that the artist does not
believe in following any grammar or rules. Like his paintings reflect his
inner emotional state, so does his sculptures. They are expressionistic in
nature with long elongated bodies, undefined faces and coarse use of the
skin material. He started playing with the material clay and with no human
figure to emulate him until it took a definite human shape. Some of his
bull horns are pretty interesting and they do are not rendered in the exact
fashion to reality. Kalra draws from life but uses his personal imagination
and makes it his own.
