RAJESH PUNJ is an Art Critic and correspondent, with an academic background in European and American Art History and curating from Warwick University (UK), and Goldsmiths (UK) respectively, whilst actively aware of the international markets. including India and the Middle East. Committed to a longstanding interest in artist interviews as articles and catalogar essays.

UMA PRAKASH is an Art Critic and Curator and is the India correspondent for the Hong Kong based magazine, Asian Art News, and World Sculpture News. She has been associated with the visual and performing arts in India and abroad. She has also curated several art exhibitions like Utsav in South Africa which featured combined “Gandhi through my Eyes” by Haku Shah “From Empire to Emporium” from Eicher Gallery New, and a local exhibition called “Gandhi Revisited” by South African artists. The bi- annual Gurgaon Utsav festival that presents theatre, music and dance has been co founded and nurtured by her.

GAURAV KUMAR is a professionally trained Commercial artist, Art Historian, Art writer, and Curator. He has worked as a Researcher at the National Museum Institute and has done several programs like the Village outreach program. He is also involved in several projects related to curation, art writing, and social media. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in History of Art covering Indian Modern Art. Besides this he’s managing the Art & Deal magazine as a Deputy Editor and Curator at Art Konsult. His interests include art and aesthetics, which frequently converge with the worlds of cinema and society.

APURVA SINHA is an Archaeologist, Art writer and a Doctoral candidate at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. She has been enthusiastically working in the same field, both government and non-government, for the past 10 years. She has assisted in 16 heritage and museum projects and has a professional experience in handling national, international and UNESCO Projects. An alumnus of the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) she aims to understand the frozen past, weaving together its tangible and intangible aspects.

SHIVANGI NAITHANI DEVRANI is an Assistant Professor at Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University. She was earlier a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of India-Arab Cultural Centre in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She acquired her UGC JRF-NET’ in 2016. She has presented papers at International and National conferences, published papers in the UGC CARE list, Peer-reviewed journals, and Art & Deal Magazine.

SNEHA GAUTAM is the resident modern Indian art specialist at AstaGuru. She joined the auction house in 2012 and has over eight years of experience in the art industry.

SUMATI GANGOPADHYAY is an art writer, art critic based in Vadodara, gujarat. She is also a self taught professional painter who had many solo and group shows in several parts of India and abroad. At present She conducts art workshops NgO where poor children in rural primary schools learn different art skills from her and other artists.

KAINAAT FATIMA is a writer and art historian. She did Post graduation from National Museum Institute. Recently she presented her two seminar papers to the National museum institute and is now working on bringing the flavour of the lost art and architecture to the forefront, bringing the remnants back to the vibrant canvas of the world to see. Her article has also been published in the Art & Deal Magazine.

DR. SEEMA BHALLA is an Art Historian with her Ph. D. in Indian Miniature Painting. She is passionate about research and has published extensively in her areas of interest that  include – Art( traditional and contemporary), Architecture, textiles, jewelry, Culture and Heritage ( tangible and intangible) . She worked in the fashion industry till 1998 followed by restoration of antique furniture of Portuguese, Dutch, French and British origin in India and has done Heritage interiors. She lives between Delhi and Chandigarh.

SARASWATHY K BHATTATHIRI  is an art historian, art writer, dancer, and pedagogue of visual art from Bangalore. She has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Art History, College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, from a span of five years. Her body of work covers articles, essays, presentations, reviews, curatorial, and catalogue writings.

JYOTI A. KATHPALIA is an Art Critic and Associate Professor of english literature in PgDAV College, Delhi University. jyoti is keenly interested in the interface of literature and art. She has presented papers at National as well as International conference. She is committed to issues of gender and representation in literature, electronic media and visual arts.

RANU ROYCHOUDHURI is a scholar of modern and contemporary art from South Asia, focusing on photography, intellectual histories of art, and postcolonial studies. Her research has been supported by the Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art, Yale University, and the University of Chicago, from where she received her doctoral degree. She teaches at Ahmedabad University.

SANJEET CHOWDHURY is a graduate from the St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in the late 1980s,is a Kolkata-based independent photographer, filmmaker, and curator committed to representing the everyday. He works with various media and format, while 35mm manual cameras, black and white celluloid films, and wide-angle lenses remain his favorite in visualizing people and spaces. His thematic interests have a broad spectrum ranging from photography, cinema, and art history to culinary culture, religion, and popular culture that he explores though his photographic, cinematic, and curatorial practices.

YEINDRILA DAS is a communication marketer with over a decade of experience in corporate communications, public relations, and media management. an avid traveller and reader, she enjoys creative conceptualisation and client-centric strategies. currently, Yeindrila runs an integrated marketing company “the Prchitects”.

JAHEL SANZSALAZAR is an Antwerp and London based art historian and researcher Jahel Sanzsalazar, author of significant books, extended essays and leading articles focusing on late 16th and 17th century Flemish Painting, having contributed to Old Master exhibitions in France, Belgium and Spain, whilst acting as acquisitions advisor to museums and collections. With research that is discoveries driven, making for an extensive archive of contributions on Flemish painting.  

SUNEET CHOPRA is an Art Critic and writer based in Gurugram, Haryana. He is also an Indian communist politician, and trade unionist. He was the All India Joint Secretary of the All India Agricultural Workers Union. He was a Central Committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

DR MEGHALI GOSWAMI is an Associate Professor, Department of History of Art, Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, West Bengal.

UPASANA BHATTACHARYA is  an alumnus of nift kolkata, and a delhi based feature writer and copyeditor, with an active interest in the study of indian scriptures, mythology and itihāsa.

davangI PaThaK is an art professional having 7 years of expertise in the field of art, culture & heritage. She had worked as an archivist and conservator for Delhi art gallery. She also writes for art platforms such as maSh india. She is an ambient learner and practitioner of linguistics such as persian, Sanskrit and tibetan. her keen interest is to explore the intersections of science, arts and spirituality. She is currently involved with the independent projects in the realms of art advisory, curation, archives, art authentication & research.

SUBHRA SANKAR BHATTACHARJEE  is a fervent emotional writer loves to write article on social, sports, culture, art and craft, history, politics etc.which can bring out the delightful content narratives that pleases the reader, as the power of pen is mightier and can change the fortune of our civil society in an alluring manner.

RITUPARNA ROY is initiator of the Kolkata Partition Museum Project that aims to establish a Partition Museum in Kolkata, focussing on the Bengal experience. an alumna of Presidency college and calcutta University, she did her doctoral research in india and her post-doctoral research at Leiden, netherlands. She has taught at several institutions in Kolkata, Leiden, and The hague. She is the author of South asian Partition fiction in english: from Khushwant Singh to amitav ghosh & co-editor of the icaS Volume, Writing india anew: indian english fiction 2000-2010.

LINA VINCENT is an independent art historian and curator with two decades of experience in arts management. Lina has worked on multi-layered projects that highlighted plural approaches, a commitment towards socially conscious practices, with a focus on inclusivity and collaboration in public arts engagement. it has resulted in interconnected bodies of research and curation, that bring together diverse voices, modes of expression, and interfaces for dialogue (physical & virtual). The focus areas of her research extend to projects with arts education, printmaking history and practice, the documentation of living traditions and folk arts in india, and environmental consciousness in the arts. her current practice foregrounds sustained engagement with material culture and social history, seen through acts of community interaction, pedagogical interventions; archiving and interpretation.

PREETI KATHURIA is an educator and researcher and specializes in contemporary art. She holds two post-graduate degrees in history of art from the National Museum institute, New Delhi and in curating contemporary art from the royal college of art, London. She has worked as assistant editor of contemporary art with the Lalit Kala Akademi (national academy of art), new Delhi. She has been writing on contemporary art for various art journals and magazines. Besides critical writing and editorial work, she has taught visual art at several universities and colleges in india. Currently, she is a visual art educator at the Vasant Valley School, new Delhi.

PROF. DR AMARGEET CHANDOK is the head of the Painting Department at the college of art in new Delhi and is also an artist and art historian. She holds the guinness World record for the largest Mount everest painting, which Sir edmund hillary personally signed. The Priyadarshini indira gandhi award for Lifetime achievement, the chairman of the all india Sikh conference award, and the Wcci award were all given to her. in addition to being a member of the editorial boards of renowned academic journals including Pranama, chinton, and arya, she was recently honored with the indian icon award on the occasion of the republic Day celebration in 2022.

RAHUL BHATTACHARYA  is an educationist, art historian, and experience designer with a passion for social and ecological sustainability and frugal innovation. he is currently head of the MDes Integrated Programme Department at Unitedworld Institute of Design, a UX design and research mentor, and a design consultant. Bhattacharya has written extensively on Contemporary Indian Art, Medieval Architecture, and Interdisciplinary Design Practice, curated for gallery spaces and public-based festivals, mentored social innovation and community interventions, and served as the Ex-Managing Editor of Art&Deal Magazine and the founding Conveyor of MATI (Management of Art Treasures of India). he is also the co-founder of the Kolkata International Performance Art Festival.

SABA HASAN  is a multi-disciplinary contemporary artist with a practice of over thirty years. Recipient of the Raza Award 2006 and the Pollock- Krasner Grant 2022, she is known for her conceptual mixed media works, voice installations and videos. Saba works from studios in Delhi, Benaulim and New York.

ISHA MODY PATODIA is a Kolkata native and Brunel University Business Management graduate, currently serves as the Director & Curator at genesis gallery and is actively involved with habiart Foundation. As the former Chairperson of Young FICCI ladies Organization, she provided a platform for women to connect and innovate. In her leisure, Isha explores her passion for piano, calligraphy, and a love for travel and learning.

MANASHRI PAI DUKLE  is an Artist, Art Historian and an educator based in Goa. Her writings often revolve around the idea of rephrasing and structuring the lost history especially crossing the space in between philosophy and art. She also runs the Art DocuMentor project that aims to generate a dialogue around experimental and divergent art.

GOPIKA NATH is a textile artist-craftsman who stitches and writes, threading her syllables into poetry, creative non-fiction and art reviews. She began her career as textile designer providing designs for industry gradually progressing to creating art made for wear. She has also worked with the Ministry of Textiles on craft projects in India. For the last 3 decades Gopika has been pursuing her passion as a textile artist, where her art practice provides a mirror to the self. A Fulbright Scholar, alumnus of Central St. Martins School of Art and Design [UK], Gopika lives and works in Goa, India.

ALKA CHADHA HARPALANI is an artist/writer based in bangalore; bfa from college of arts, chandigarh & mfa, phd from faculty of Visual arts, bhu Varanasi. She has worked in higher education commission’s job as astt. professor for almost 15 years and is involved in e-learning mooc project by mhrd by dayalbagh university agra. She is an editor of a journal- artistic narration; recipient of many prestigious awards and honours; held and participated in many all india and international exhibitions. her articles and research papers have been published in numerous renowned journals, blogs, art newspapers and magazines.
